Rapid Surveys Pty Ltd operates Lodgaroo and respects your privacy. This explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

Account details (name, email), the data you enter about your houses, lodgers and payments, your sending-email settings, the messages you and your lodgers send through Lodgaroo and any photos or files attached to them, and basic usage/log data. If you turn on device notifications, we also store a push subscription for that device so we can deliver alerts.

How we use it

To provide the Service — managing your house data, carrying messages between you and your lodgers, sending the emails you ask us to send (from your own email account), delivering notifications you opt into, and billing your subscription.

Messages, files & moderation

Messages and attachments are private to your house and are not used for advertising. You and your lodgers can report a message you consider objectionable and block another lodger from messaging you. When content is reported, we may review it to enforce our Terms, and we may remove content or suspend access for abuse. We do not otherwise read your messages.

Who we share it with

Payment processing is handled by Stripe (we never see or store full card numbers). Lodger emails are sent through your own email provider, using credentials you supply. Device notifications are delivered through the push service of your browser or operating system (e.g. Google, Apple or Mozilla); the notification content is encrypted in transit. We do not sell your data.

Storage & security

Data is stored on our server in Australia. Email passwords are encrypted at rest; card data stays with Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data — contact us or use the in-app options. We keep data only as long as needed to provide the Service or meet legal obligations.
